View Full Version : Mirror in the background?

I took this on Mother's day at my in laws. They have a large mirror in the den and I was thinking about doing some more pictures there. The light in that room is pretty awsome on a sunny day because of the white walls and the mirror facing a sliding glass door.

These are my sister's in law. I know these pictures could be much better, they are just snap shots. I included them to give an idea of the mirror and the space I have to work with.

My idea would be to use a tighter DOF and really blur out the mirror so that you are focused on the subject more. I didn't put this in the Critique area because I knew the pics were not perfect but any feedback would be great!

Thank's dimitry, but I got the cute one!

Has anyone taken pictures with a mirror other than the standard over the shoulder portrait or a self portrait? If so I'd like to see them...

Love that natural lighting! You'll have to go back and get more shots there! Good stuff!

And which one is "the cute one" to you? They both look 'cute' to me.
