I think I would have gotten a really good shot from here, but I couldn't get the fence out of it, or some of the others for that matter.

Great shots, you did a good job with the fence. It would be nice if the fence was close enough to get the lens right up to it and avoid it in shots, but I guess they are not thinking about photographers when they keeping these guys in.

Thanks Andy, Skade, and Blue. I'm assuming the railing in front of the fence is to deter people from poking their mits into the enclosure.

Not that this stopped some woman from hoping the railing (http://www.wolftimbers.org/Nature%20is%20lucky%20to%20survive%20brush%20with% 20humanity.html) and trying to touch the last Timber Wolf in Brookfield last year. (This really ticked me off when it happened, but I'm a little less bitter as Brookfields new Wolf Woods is nice.)

Great shots ... one can hardly notice the fence, except fellow zoo photographers who are used to that thing.
