Powershot S30 LCD has White Screen

I used my S30 yesterday to take some pictures in the yard, put it back in it's bag and put it away. Took it out today turned it on and get a white screen on the LCD, I can still take pictures and down load them but for some reason the LCD is white. So I can not interact with any menu stuff. Anyone know what would cause this? I have never had any problems with this camera before. I have owned it for about 4 years. It's never been dropped, never been exposed to extreme weather (hot/cold). It's always been terrific.

The screen is white because the LCD is not working but the backlight is. LCD possibly has bad connection with main PCB or is damaged and in need of being replaced.
