High Speed panning in low light

Here's a shot I took at this years NHRA Winternationals. It was getting dark and the cars are too far for a flash. I've been taking photos at the drag races for many years, I think this is one of the more unusual.

Nice pic. Strange color scheme for that air intake. Seems like a hasty afterthought.

I really like this shot, it looks like the front of the car is starting to leave the rear end behind:-)
