Not posted in this part of the forum before, but thought i would share:)

These are a couple from last night; it was my friend Kates birthday and also her band T.Mandrake were playing at the Troubadour club on Old Brompton Road, near Earls Court London.

I went to the front of the crowd initially to cheer her on, then went back for my camera - school boy mistake. I couldnt get anywhere near as good a position as i had before, but i am still happy with the results.

Shot with 5DII, ISO 6400, mostly @ 1/60, 50mm f/1.4

1. Going for a bit of NME style PP in this one. Not sure if i nailed it, but i like it.

They look a bit soft & the subject is dead center in all.
Apart from that, I like #3

Thanks Rene :) - i think this is the first time i have come up against the wall with the 5DII's low light focusing issues. However it was VERY dark with only a few spotlights, so i am not surprised - it would have been hard for any camera.

The framing was constrained by peoples heads getting in the way, so not much i could do there .

Lol i am full of excuses.

Thanks for looking anyway :D
