Thanks for all the kind comments. What do you guys think about the crop in picture #5, I havent cropped anyhting off the picture, its straight from the camera. His left hand is bothering me, the way that his fingers are half-way cut off, but when I crop just below his left wrist the picture does not seem right.

#2 & #4 are great. #4 is my fav. I see what you mean about the fingers in #5. I think I'd leave it the way it is.
Which lens were you using? 75-300?
My daughter has regionals coming up on Friday (Denver). Hope the weather is nice. They tend to cancel pole vault when the weather turns nasty.

Yes I was using my Canon 75-300.
Hope things go well for your daughter as well as the weather, make sure and post some pictures after the meet.

Five is awesome too, but it would have been sweet if you caught him full frame!

wow, I'm really suprised on the feedbackthat I got from #2. When I first saw it, I thought it was an OK picture but nothing special. The girl's family called the office and ordred 3 - 8X10 pictures, so they must have like it. And once again guys, thanks for the kind comments.
