"Tulip-Tuesday"!

So I shot my first flower pics yesterday, and went back today in hope of a little better lighting..not much better, but I had a good time, and got a few of what I would consider keepers...I'm a TOTAL n00b when it comes to flowers...so forgive me if this is off the mark!
Only PP was a little USM.

the canon 75-300 usm actually. We can't get close to the flowers at the gardens...they have these little commissionaires that chase you off the grass every time you make an attempt!

It's a really good shot. I often get good results with that lens, shooting flowers about 6-10 feet away.

Nice shot, but you might consider knocking down the contrast a bit to show the detail in the petals & sharpen less so there aren't any halos around the dark bits.
