I NEED TO BUY A LENSE THAT CAN SHOOT LIKE BUGS AND SMALL INSECTS AND STILL SHOOT LIKE A NICE LANSCAPE.

I HOPE THERE IS SOMETHING LIKE THAT OUT THERE THATS NOT TOO EXPENSIVE.

1) Please stop shouting.

2) You're not going to find a lens that does both well. Landscape uses short lenses (17-40mm perhaps), macro is good with lenses like the Canon 100mm F2.8 macro.

As Tim mentioned, you wont get a good lens which covers both of your requirements. Some very good lenses for macro work are canon 100mm f2.8 Macro, Sigma 105 mm & 150 mm macro & tamron 90 mm macro. Canon & sigma will cost you more than ~400 at the min. Plus field of view for all these lenses is too narrow making them not so suitable for lanscape photography.
You will need a wide angle lens for landscape.

However I did some search on net, so if you are ready to compromise the picture quality a bit & dont really need a 1:1 magnification for your macro work then there is a cheap sigma lens
check it here

(look for sigma 28-80mm aspherical macro AF on sigmaphoto.com if this link dosent works)

I dont know you camera so cant comment on actual coverage but lens itself is 28-80 mm. Should fit in your budget (its ~$60 I think, please confirm) & help you do some general landscape & macro.

BTW, how much is your budget ?

Hope this helps.

1) you can use interchangeable lenses on a DSLR. Kit lens + 100 mm macro lens will do the trick.
2) Tamron 28-75/2.8 plus extension tubes.

Best regards,
Andy

Any lens for landscape is a landscape lens. A wide angle shows feeling of depth with the help of foreground and background. A telephoto, on the other hand, compresses subjects from different distances (e.g. peaks of a series of mountains). Telephoto can be used for showing patterns by eliminating unwanted details. There is no need to label one lens as landscape lens IMHO.

PHOENIXSON, what you need is a compact camera. No disrespect, but all purpose, cheap and good... you won't find it in a single lens. Except if they made a 8-1200mm f/1.4L IS macro USM and sell it for the price of a 28-135mm IS. Which won't happen.

Nah. I got the f/1.05 LLDO IS version. Works great down to 1/8 sec. handheld and is only 750 mm at max. zoom. Some of you may not like it because it's a push-pull model.

they made a 8-1200mm f/1.4L IS macro USM

I had one, but CA was a major problem on it. That and it weighed 142lbs. At least it had wheels. I sold it on ebay and used the money I got to buy a nifty fifty.

shooting a landscape with a 155mm can make quite an impact.....

AND you'll get a LOT of bugs in one go!
