Who makes a good, cheap strap to carry my xprob around with me outdoors? I don't want a bazooka bag or anything like that, just a simple strap that I can carry over my shoulder.

Got an old (fairly wide) camera strap around? A foot or so of 1-1/2" Velcro and a D-ring to attach it to and you're in business.

Ok, so I have the camera strap that came with my xsi (after being replaced with the nice potn one), so I could loop one end to the strap hook, then where would I attach the other end? I'm interested in the idea, I just need a little bit more detail.
Thanks!

This Manfrotto 120 Heavy Duty Carrying Strap (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/554120-REG/Manfrotto_by_Bogen_Imaging_3044_3044_Long_Tripod_C arrying.html/) is what you really want. It comes with the fitting needed to connect it at the top of the tripod - a fitting that is not available by itself anywhere that I have found.

Thanks!Use the Velcro around the legs. Then sling it head down.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. I just chucked the manfrotto 102 strap in my cart with my extra lp-e5 battery. That should be good enough for vacation!
