Been working on shooting motocross and think im starting to get some decent shots but would like some C&C on them and, please, be as honest/harsh as you need to

This is my first attempt at panning, only tried it for a few shots

Fantastic! Composition-wise, my favorite is #4.

In #1, I feel that your attempt at panning was successful. Because the photos are small, I can't really tell just how sharp your subject is, but from this distance, the body of the racer and the front of the bike look pretty sharp to me. I think that #2 would be more interesting if there were more sky underneath the rider. Did you crop #2 to get rid of a busy background? #3 has vibrant coloring, but the crop is too tight at the rider's head. #5 is really cool--an "in-your-face" type of photo.

I think you're well on your way! Great job!

Really cool! What track are they taken at?

Thanks for the feedback. I agree with you on the crops on #2 and 3. In #2 i just cropped a little off the top and #3 i didnt crop at all, both are just framing errors in camera

Heres a link to my flickr if you want to check out the larger versions

JWitmer, they were taken at Watkins track here in Colorado
