Not quite sure what the focus of this image is?

Is it the bridge?, is the boat on the river?, or is it just a panorama?

I'm sorry, but I can't see it improving with cropping either.

There's too much going on in this pic. What should I look at the bridge, the boat, the chimney, the overexposed street sign, the mass of leaves, the road, or the buildings across the water?

so in the original its focused on the rowers, but i used a really awful resize tool, so most detail was lost. so i think this post is useless, sorry

it's a view of what you see....that makes it valid....the brick wall actually supports the image by creating strength in 2 areas...
1....supports the bridger structure
2....visually adds to the illusion of looking at the scene from a roof or window....kinda like peering out....put a card against it and watch what happens...the bridge floats.....and you loose the illusion of being a bystander..........good snapshot....and record of the scene.......don

nice view. looks like a shot from mit. is that the harvard bridge or longfellow? although i agree with bloodog, this post is in the critique section, so everyone is doing just that. putting in my two cents, its a shame that tree is there. otherwise you could have a great shot. try it from different angles as well.
