I hardwire my EOS 1 DS Mark II to my powerbook and want to see a large, full screen image of the photo immediately after capture. What software is available for this?
The Canon software only allows for a very small thumbnail, not very practical for judging lighting set up etc.

Jonathan,
If you double-click on the thumbnail, the picture should open in a separate window. Just keep that window open and any other pictures you take you should be able to just scroll to. At least that is what I do with the EOS viewer utility that came with my 20D when I have my camera hooked up to my PB.

You're absolutely right Manny! It works fine and if I only use a JPG setting the image appears fast. Good for checking lighting and reflections of my flashheads. After that I can change to Raw and disconnect if I like to store on my card or stay connected for direct download to my Powerbook.
Thanks.

You're very welcome. I've used this setup before where I know my camera will not move and I need to take several shots, such as posed shots. It's one of my favorite features in using a DSLR. Glad I could be of help.
