These specks in all my photos are driving me crazy. I have the mp-e 65, I've cleaned the front of the lens, dust still there. I cleaned the inside back, dust is still there. Is there a way to tell where the dust is? If it's dust on the sensor, will it show up with a different lens? I read that with the mp-e, it will show every little speck of dust, but I don't know if this is true for other non macro lenses.

The dust is on the sensor - it will show with other lenses if you set them around F22 or smaller and take an OOF photo of a plain lightish surface.

Wow, turns out it was sensor dust. I used them plastic air blower type things and now my images are much cleaner. Thanks LordV!
