I was given a Manfrotto Bogen tripod and head.
The Tripod is a Bogen 3021
The head is a Bogen 3130 which I believe is meant for video.
I would appreciate some advice on a good head for this Tripod?

I shoot a 20D with the heaviest lens being a Sigma 50-500mm weighing in at 4.1 pounds

Thanks

I use a Manfrotto (sold in the U.S. by Bogen) 488RC2 on my 3021. It's a very popular ball head and ideal for EOS cameras.

You could look at many other higher quality ballheads as well. Like the Arca Swiss Z1 or RRS or Markins or Kirk or Linhof Profi
