I have a red carpet and wedding to shoot this week. The requirement for the flash bracket is to work with 1ds and 1d mk3 body, will allow rotating (either bracket or camera) for vertical and horizontal style shooting easily, coming with a flash cord for EX 580 II. I saw a chart for Stoboframe Bracket chart, but I still do not know which one fit my needs. Advice is welcomed and appreciated. Also do you know which store ship product fast?

Thank you.

This the "Custom Bracket pro m" that I use. I like it. As you see it here, with this body/lens....it's a heavy beast. Some folks complain about that....I reckon that is an individual issue though....to me it's not a bother.

Newton Camera Bracket, works with tall bodies like 1Ds and/or with shorter bodies (5D) with or without the optional battery grip. Nearly 1 lb lighter than the Custom Bracket! Pro quality gear loved by many event covering pros. I would hate to have to lift one extra pound to my eye, hundreds or thousands of times during 8-12 hours of wedding coverage!

Talk to Robert Newton himself, on the phone number listed on the web site.

I definitely will second the recommendation for Newton brackets. I've converted more than a couple local photogs to the Newton brackets once they've used mine.
