The 2nd one we call squeezy nose. A bent nose, struggling to breath.
Lola's fine with small dogs but shy with big ones like labs and shepherds, often hiding behind our legs. But then again, she absolutely adores big greyhounds, even ones that are twice her size.
Is Roxy a rescue?
Show us some photos! We need more whippets, long dogs and salukis on this forum.
Try socialising Roxy as much as possible with other dogs. Let them play together off the lead if possible, chasing balls and having fun. On the lead is restrictive and may contribute to shyness with others. Especially with sight hounds, off the lead allows them to run circles round other dogs without having the contact. Puts them in control.
Too many dogs together, too intimidating. Avoid little jappy ones especially those that jump in her face and snap.
An alternative is get a dog walker to take her at times. Dog walkers taking a bunch of dogs at a time to a park is a good way of socialising. It may be beneficial if you're not around to protect her.

Rescue...
Well intresting story, No she was not a rescue BUT  the lady i got her from was an EX RSPCA worker, she had i counted 13 dogs, the house was a living nightmare, grime busters in not the work it was foul! the house was a wreck!
she said they were house trainned, about 4 of the little tinkled all over the floor after trying to get them out of the cage - they would not come out!
My girlfriend as a toy yorkshire terrier and my gilrfriends mum had a german sheppard and they all get on fine!
i used to lead walk her, but now i have lots of fields to exercize her on in the middle of no where and she knows how quick she is so she can out run anything! :)
Yes i will post a few later of her!
There just such a beautiful pet to have!
i think next year i will look for a rescue!

ariananeal, I agree with your comment on the flatness. How about this one? Have also included a snapshot of the histogram and original greyscale conversion and original colour. Any comments, critique and suggestions very welcome.

Here's a couple of Bobby, he's 1 year. If you've been on the whippet forum you may have seen a couple of pictures of him on there before.
