Beach Rose

I went to the beach last night to shoot the sunset and found this rose.

Nice cast from the Sunset...but the water seem too blurry to me. If I were you, I will use a faster shutter speed to stop the water flow. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with Preston, though I would say there are two options - either capture it at a higher shutter speed or on sticks at a MUCH slower one. Right now the effect looks accidental and not intentional enough. ya know? I would have liked to see a close wide shot, showing the rest of the beach - i think it might have told a bigger story, raised questions about why the rose is there...

Nice photo, good points above but I also like the way this one is shot. It doesn't look accidental to me, because the sand and rose are in focus. I envy you being able to go to the beach and shoot anytime you like. :D We have lots of coastline in Oklahoma, just no saltwater!
