I looked in the book thread & did not find what I wanted.

I was looking for an up to date book on RAW workflow. Everything starting from after you take the picture to printing & then archiving.

Thanks

What software are you using?

I would be interested in this too.

I always shoot in RAW, but when I've shot about 200 ish photos in a day, PP can be very heavy going.

I have Canons own DPP, Elements 7 and Lightroom 2 at my disposal, each seem to have their benefits and drawbacks.

I'll be following this thread with interest!

200? Easy!! Lightroom 2 is a great piece of software and there is a lot of online stuff to help.

I have DPP & PS CS3. I was thinking of getting either Lightroom 2 or Bibble 5 when released.

Try looking around on Scott Kelby's website - he writes books on the subject matter all of the time.

I use Downloader Pro to name and make a DNG version of all my files as I copy them from the memory card. I then use LR2 to catalog, rate, for almost all of the editing and then the jpeg conversion.

The book I have found most useful is The Adobe Lightroom 2 Book (http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Photoshop-Lightroom-Book-Photographers/dp/0321555619/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1248919594&sr=1-2). This is a very comprehensive manual for LR2. There are many LR2 books (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=lightroom&x=15&y=9) but I think Adobe LR2 would be the one to start with.
