I think it would be valueable to have a section devoted to Models and the On-line accounts they use. Positve only. No to call out bad models but to focus the attention of the community on models that show up, produce professionaly and live up to or exceed expectations.

Something like the feed back section for sale items.

Just a thought

There won't be a separate section, but you can certainly start a specific thread. I imagine it will be policed quite stringently to ensure only positive feedback is posted.

Now why would you want only only the positive feedback? I can understand no personal attacks say based on looks or intelligence. But wouldn't information like being a no show or chronically late or even just hard to work with be not only helpful but valuable? I understand there is always the possibility of it getting abused but I think "for the most part" everyone here seems to have integrity.

I for one would not particiapte in a thread that called out Models for bad behavior. For one thing I don't really know anyone here and any body can have a bad day.

Suppose one of us is a PERV and Nasty. Suppose this Photographer triggered the models "creep radar". So she did not show up or refused to disrobe or would not put her ass in the air high enough to suit our Photographer. Might he then come here to talk about her?

That could lead to flame wars and insanity.

But on the other hand simple post that says:

I had a shoot with Princess PrettyPants from Model mayhem. Her rates were reasonable, she arrived on time, worked hard at the shoot, and was a joy to work with. Her MM profile is XXXXXXX and she works out of San Francisco. Currently she shoots Fashion, editorial, nudes and implied. I would shoot with her anytime.

Feel free to look at my posts here and here and my MM profile to get a look at her work with me.

This conveys FACTS because the shoot went well. That tells us something real about the Model. Several positive references here tell us even more.

It may even serve as a meeting place for Photographers and Model of good will.

Negative stuff is just bad news. We should remain focused on lifting each other (Models and photographers) up and allow peoples own behavior to bring them down if they have it coming.

If I start a thread.... That will be it's intentions.

In general, we try to keep the forum positive and fun to read. We don't allow threads that are negative in tone toward specific individuals or groups. Negative threads tend to go bad quickly and result in bad feelings all the way around.

If some one were to post a thread recounting positive experiences with models, that would be keeping with the spirit of POTN. A negative thread, however, would not.

My guess is some ass would immediately contradict another's positive post about a model, then try to expound on his/her poor experience with that same person. And you having a good experience with that person doesn't mean it'll go right for me. Sorry - I love the concept and many photogs in my area have verbally shared a few of their experiences with certain models when speaking amongst each other, but I doubt its practical in a forum environment and the thread would probably get locked fairly quickly.
