Well, I've gone & done it... I've bought L glass to go on my Drebel :D, namely the 70-200 L F4.
The sample images are here:-
Flower (http://lacking-lucidity.com/gallery/image_med/26/), The Mutt (http://lacking-lucidity.com/gallery/image_med/27/), Another one of the Mutt (http://lacking-lucidity.com/gallery/image_med/28/) , and a 100% crop (http://lacking-lucidity.com/gallery/image_med/29/)
They are straight out of the camera, shot RAW, with zero mods apart from some compositional cropping.
Personally I am absolutely stunned at the quality after using the 18-55usm lens that came with the camera and the 'Nifty Fifty'... but not as stunned as my poor (in all senses of the word!) credit card - there's another L on the way! :o
Will someone please tell me there's a cure for this fever?? Or if not, do Canon do L grade spectacle lenses so I can have the quality all my waking hours? ;)
