i need some help

I was recently at a party and handed my Canon SD750 to a friend who had butterfingers and dropped my baby. Now the battery door/card holder pops open when you BARELY touch it!! It was easy to open to begin with but now its almost impossible to take pictures without it shutting itself off and having to close the door and cut it back on! Does ANYONE know where i could take it to get it fixed or send it??? i live right outside of Memphis and i really have no clue what to do or where to start looking either. I have tried to google places but nothing but places to send it off to. i MUCH rather take it somewhere rather than have to send it somewhere off the internet.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!?

When I Google "Memphis camera repair" I get several local possibilities.

You should find a couple of possibles there. But they may just send it off to Canon even if you do take it in yourself.
