Bought this from ebay, i think i was ripped off needs a good clean :lol:

I've heard of things being so clean you could eat off of them. This lens looks like it was put to just such a use.

I suggest running it throught the dishwasher. That's how I clean mine.

Looks like a grimey Juice lens. Either that, or the lens is so advanced it runs windows CE, and it somehow crashed in most spectacular fashion. I think some window cleaner and a paper towel would make pretty quick work of it ;)

Not sure about being dropped - it may have had someone use pliers to remove the UV filter...
I've seen a cleaning kit somewhere for this sort of thing, must have a look for it.

A little Scotch Brite will fix it right up. You might try a little oven cleaner on it, too.

That lens does not need to be cleaned. It looks like it has already spent a year in muck at the bottom of a lake. How clean can it get?
