Any of you guys use this? I just picked one up at B&H for $45 for my new 20D and it seems like a great little bag to bounce around with. Anyone have any opinions on it?

Yes, It's a great bag. I have one.
You will find that once you adjust it to your needs, you will love it.

I have one, it's perfect for for 1 camera and a couple of lens with my 420EX. That pretty well fills it up. Very light and easy to carry around. Great walkaround bag.

Getting it adjusted is a bit of a pain, but once I get it right, I am sure that I will love it. I am used to Portabrace bags for all of my video equipement. Those fit like gloves. It does seem like it will work pretty well for what I want in a sling-type bag.

you also have the lower waist strap that you can use if your hiking, and you want to keep the pack perfectly steady on ur pack.
I have used it once or twice.

I have both the 7 and 9 models. Great bags. If you add the battery grip to the camera you will find the 7 difficult to use.

I have the Velocity 7. Great to walk around and stay compact. The only complaint that I have is that I have a large frame and the strap doesn't adjust long enough.

I've been looking at the Velocity bags, too, so thanks for asking the question Lynn.

They are supposed to provide easy access to equipment, as opposed to backpacks which you need to take off everytime you want to take a shot -- "...swinging it around to the front provides quick access ..." according to the marketing. Any opinions?

They're almost like having a purse. Your equipment is right there at your fingertips.

I tried several bags before settling on the Adorama Slinger. The Slinger is essentially the same as the Velocity, only a bit larger and less expensive. I thought the Velocity 7 was a little too small for my XT, extra lens and two flashes. The Velocity 9 was definitley too big. What I really really wanted was a Velocity "8", but they don't make that.
