Great shots. I am so jealous. I used to do alot of air to air work and there isn't a drug out there that will give you a rush like this. I woul love to have the opportunity to do thiat again.

Victor, you lucky dog. Someday, I'm hoping to get the chance to do this. One of the few P-47's I have not seen before.

WOW! I'm so jealous it's incredible.

You have no idea how much I love this plane. I really wish I had that opportunity.

I like P47D-27 version more though (bubble canopy. Not the razor back version).

Wow

Great images!
The P47 Thunderbolt is one of my all-time favourites.
Can't explain why, but for some reasons I liked these brute planes (Thunderbolt and Corsair) more than the sleek and refined P51, Spitfire or Hurricane.

Thanks for sharing :D

Best regards,
Andy

PS: I also had a look at your other galleries. Awesome :D

Great Shots, how did you get the prepeller motion in the second shot like that? I take a lot of shots of planes at fly-ins and our RV fly in. But I don't know how to slow the prepeller down enough to get the motion and keep the plane in focus. I'm still learning my camera though. I just got a 20D.
