This is one corner of the library in Alcatraz. I was amazed by the tones in this shot of a book shelf sitting over a heating element, with the barred window above.
The thought that Al Capone, Machine Gun Kelly or The Birdman of Alcatraz may have spent time thumbing through books that used to sit on this shelf, lured me into shooting this rather boring part of the prison.
