View Full Version : Canon 430EZ Speedlite work with 20D or 5D?

Hey guys. I have a 20 and a 5D Mark II and an old school 430EZ Speedlite Flash unit. The Flash is Awesome back when I was using my EOS 10S and Elan. I am wondering if it will still work with the new Digital SLR's like my 5D? I know in auto mode, on my 20D it does not work. Can anyone share with me if it will work? Thank you in advance for any information!

It will not work in TTL modes on any Canon DSLR, so it will be manual only. It will work in manual and will not harm your camera.
