Los Angeles Peruvian Festival

Spent this Sunday at the Peruvian Independence Day Festival here in LA. Tried experimenting by using a slow shutter speed to capture dress movement in a couple shots. I tried to avoid having more than one performer in a shot, which explains my tight crops.

I bit too little shadow detail in all IMO.
Apart from that: Some nice images with just the right amount of motion blur.

I'd probably shoot a bit wider, and crop in post. Easier to just avoid cropping feet and so.

I definitely had this go through my head while I was processing the photos. I was disappointed that I cropped feet, dress, etc in a lot of my shots, but I've learned my lesson and will definitely shoot wider crops next event. This was my first performing arts event.
