Saw these two dogs on the beach, the smaller one wouldn't go back to his owner and ignored her calling and followed the bigger one for a long time. Some attraction there I guess...hahahah,,,,after all,,,,,it's a dog's life....

cheers

Did you do the dogs on a separate layer and then superimpose them? I'm just learning the basics of PS so all the jiggery pokery is way beyond me but the dogs feet don't seem to be attached to the ground!

hi,,,,,do you mean that two areas: the dogs and the landscape are from two different photos? No in that regard.....

,,I am not even a pro of ps myself so I have little idea how I got his, but here are the basic details, first I cropped the photo from a normal beachscape, the did all the normal things, sharpening,,level and contrast, then selected the area where the dogs are, so did all over again the sharpening, level and contrast and all over that particular area, some feathering and USM more, finally,,,but i just put some filter effect that I couldn't remember, I just find the dogs on the foreground interesting, more than the landscape behind,,,so,,,,

thanks and if this helps.....

Great shots. That woudn't be near Cape Foulwind would it? Saw similar dogs on that beach when we visited N.Z in 1999. Thanks for sharing.

True,,so true,,,all,,,,and we human have all these emotional things regarding friendship, family and romance,,,so complex,,,and sometimes you think it is completely unnecessary,,,,,why cant we just confront each other in the most natural way, like these two dogs,,,like it or hate it,,,all in a second....hahaha,,,,animal attraction......

Hi, Markopolo,,,sorry it's not Cape Foulwind shown here,, it's Sumner Beach in Christchurch,,,,,,thanks..

cheers all
