Whoa, pretty awesome for a first attempt!

I particularly like 3, 5, & 7...

Hey just a tip, to make it easier on us, you should number the pics!

Great shots!

I personally like #3, #4, #5 and #9 best!

Who was the model?

Best regards,
Andy

Great shots and a beautiful model - where is she from?

If I had to choose the nest, I'd opt for #2 and #5. Mainly as I like these compositions and think the colours work well. The clothes the model is wearing helps these pictures and her facial expressions are good.

For a first time these are great. Well done.

All nice, But in particular, I like #8, the head shot. She looks like the Girl next door type, as well as being pretty. ;) :D

huminuh83,

the first three shots really work for me.

1st - really good choice of the camera position. You make a diva out of her model

2nd - What I mostly like here are colours...you don't mention any PS work here, this is the pic as it came out of the camera????

3rd - This is my favourite...light, subject, framing, expression, great job!!!

thanx for sharing,
T.O.

Excellent work ... very impressive first effort! Both models are extremely attractive.
#8 is my favorite ... an outstanding self portrait.

on the second one, the background was SO incredibly blown because these were taken at around 3pm, so I had to lower the brightness of the background. Other than that I adjusted levels and shadows and highlights in PS (a VERY powerful tool).

I like the ones of you. Esp #8. The expression is what I call "about to". You could be about to smile, about to cry, about to show just about any expression under the sun. Its not a blank expression, its just that expression thats inbetween all other expressions.

Hmmm...I think I'm talking crap... I should stop drinking and go to bed.

Good on you for having the guts to post a self portrait... althought you did have a much more pleasing subject to work with than some of the rest of us do.

:D

And its created a very nice effect :)

Great shots, like all of them a lot.
