So far I have about 10 pics that I would like to enlarge and print to be hung on my wall. I have heard that Cosco/BJ's/ and Walmart all have good print facillities. Anyone have a favorite, or a suggestion for me for these prints. Just wanted to get some input before I spent the $$. Looking for prints about 16X 20 ish.I would even order online but have yet to use anyone. Just lookn for input. Thanks!

I would stay away from the drug stores. I tried twice and got crud back each time. Go to a Ritz, or Wolf or somewhere they actually sell photographic equipment.

Some Walgreens use the Fuji Frontier 350(?) printer. Many do not. Some are getting upgraded printers. You'll have to ask, or look here.

A local Walmart is using the Frontier 370, applies no corrections, & the prints from there are clean. But you can only get 4X6 & 5X7s from them. For larger prints I go to a local custom lab.
I've had very different color tints at different Walgreens. Make a test print that has an actual white & see what it prints like. You might download one of these:

Use JPGs @ 150+ ppi. RGB, not CMYK.

For non-professional prints I have been using Costco. I downloaded and use a profile from Dry Creek Photo and have been quite pleased with the results. 12x18 prints are only $3, probably the biggest bargain in the photographic universe. I have also gotten good prints at a Ritz camera store which used a Mitsubishi dye sub printer. For prints for clients I go to a professional lab.

Second for the mpix... Reasonable, fast and great print quality.
My first print I tried to get a local print company to do it. They wanted $30 for a 11x14! And you could see where the rollers imprinted on the print! They were using a professional epson.

not that I need to worry about this yet, but I was wondering how you keep someone that works there from taking your picture and calling it there own.

I got some samples from MPIX and they look great! The problem I have is if I just want some 4x6 prints they charge $4.95 shipping. I like www.winkflash.com for smaller prints. I guess $4.95 wouldn't be too bad for a high quality large print.

I will second the Costco vote.... very fast and they will do just about any size on the spot..... and they are dirt cheap too.
