pseudo-HDR?

can anyone please explain how to do pseudo-HDR? do you just load up 1 raw image or do you take that raw image and make 3 copies and adjust exposures? and do you adjust anything else other than exposures? thanks in advance.

1 RAW works or u can do 1 RAW with 2 copies at -2 +2
