2nd try at newborn 8 days old...is color ok?

My second try at newborn photos. This is my great nephew. Tried to get some classic naked squished up newborn shots but he thought otherwise! Could not squish this kid up for nothing! I think the color looks off, maybe the WB or something...any tips would be great. Shot with Canon S5 and 430ex on camera, bounced. He is still somewhat jaundice so he was a little yellow.

4 (this one is soft, mom wanted dreamy looking) and he looks purple or too blue or something to me but my monitor is not calibrated...thoughts?)

I'd go with black and white.

His skin in 1 and 6 is really, really red...I'd tone it down. Some of them are really yellow too, I'd fix the skin tone issues.

Are you shooting auto WB? Try locking your WB on something like flash and then correct all with the same setting. ;)

oh no. sucking the fingers. LOVE those shots. They are quite red tho.

It's hard with the jaundiced look that babies can get, but you can try to judge color off of your whites. Some seem a little too "warm" to me, but I have trouble adjusting mine properly sometimes.

The pictures with his fingers in his mouth are adorable!

These are cute but I am seeing a lot of red and orange. The shot of him sucking his fingers is adorable.
