the three principles from the movie Spinal Tap (Harry Shearer, Mike McKean and Christopher Guest) hit the road a couple of months ago to play songs (acoustically, and not in 'costume,' hence the tour's name) from their movies (in addition to Spinal Tap, they did some stuff from _A Mighty Wind_ and _Waiting For Guffman_) and play a few video vignettes, as well as to have an audience Q&A session...it was quite a fun night, and you can read about it (http://www.prefixmag.com/photos/unwigged-and-unplugged-christopher-guest-wilbur/) if you wish.

There were tables right to the edge of the stage, so we were limited to either shoot from the soundboard, or along the edges of the theater. i used my 1.4TC on my 70-200 a few times and was happy w/ its performance.

Nice images, but it doesn't look like they "go to eleven" anymore

Great set! Were most of these shot with the 70-200 2.8 IS?

Looks like a good copy of the 70-200mm ... I just had to send one of mine back to Canon due to ultra soft focus uncorrectable by microadjustment and now I notice that the other isn't crystalline either.
