I'm ready to order this but most of the places I check are out of stock. I guess it's really that good,

Give Unique Photo a call, they might have it. www.uniquephoto.com (http://www.uniquephoto.com)

Also, they will price match any of the big places like B&H and Adorama.

This may sound like a funny spot to look for it, but I have been in CompUSA numerous times here in Tucson, and they always keep that lens in stock. I couldn't believe it the first time I saw it there.

Ugh, but they're asking $399 for it...

I'll wait until B&H gets it in. :p

Isn't that a real elusive place? In order to get there unique up on it?

Sorry, couldn't resist, no self control.

Unique Photo, though not as well known as B&H, is a reputable place.

They're back ordered.

Holy cow, this must be a great lens.Wow. Last time I was there (a week or two ago) they had at least a dozen.

I was also at Beach Camera about a month ago and they had to have 20 of them in the display case, but I think that's because their price is not that good. You may be able to get them to price match B&H, though.

I'll have to give them a call, or with my schedule, I might have to e-mail them first. Thanks Phil.

I've ordered from Canoga Camera in California. There prices are the same as B+H and Adorama....Good service and they've had both the 28-75 Tamron and the Tokina 12-24 in stock recently. If you're west of the Rockies, the shipments get here faster also.
