i would have been much more conscious of the background and reflections when placing the cup in the first place. the dof is good, but this one almost screams vertical to me. i like the dirty cup, however.

yeah i thought about the rule of thirds, but i read somewhere here that its not always the case. thanks for the comments!

I think the reflection is too distracting, and the background a bit too bright. The coffee stain is cool. I think it'd great if you rotate the cup just a few degrees so just heart shape (lower right hand corner) is more pronounced, just imo
