here are some of my images from last couple of days at flatrock, NSW when a decent South swell hit newcastle.

hi jason yes i do like them .i know how hard they are to capture and its usually along time between swells sometimes months.i really like the 1 with the tanker in the background , what camera and lens did you use

uhm i used my cousing 350d with 75-300mm lens as i dont have my own camera atm. i prob should of used the tripod for str8 horizon but forgot it.

You can easily fix the horizon through rotation and cropping. It'll barely affect the photo.

I think they look good. The surfers would be stoked to have them.

If you shoot from the beach, try to get there when the sun is at your back and low. Top light or back light can wash out the colors sometimes.

*UPDATE*
i re-did my images like straighten the horizons and i decided to just use the lightroom copyright watermark, seeing i dont have paypal to donate for the mogrify plugin :(
