i guess i'm mostly looking at suggestions for processing of this shot, which i can perhaps apply to some simlar ones as well. any ideas on getting rid of the weird color over his head? i shot from behind the stage last night, so i wasn't able to get many decent shots but will be giving it another go tonight so any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks!

The weird color was caused by a stage light...select his head and de-saturate the green.

1/250, f1.8, iso 800.

aside from shooting from in front of the stage rather than behind, i probably would have gotten better results if i bumped iso to 1600, halved the shutter, and stopped down two full stops, eh?

I actually kind of like the green on his head :) I think it's a cool shot. The second one, I don't dig as much, and it's probably because they don't look as into it as the guy in the first. They don't appear to be having much fun at that moment... =P

not metal, no, but kind of noise-rock similar to the band sonic youth. they took their band name from one of their songs. they were the first canadian band to sign with sub-pop records (nirvana) and re-unite annually for a small music festival in my hometown.
