I like the flower, but the bike speaks to me. It takes me back way too many years to when I had one similar to this! I like both, but prefer the B&W!

On the purple flower, where is the point of focus? the center black part of the flower? It's too hard to tell. The petals of the flower look soft and out of focus or needs sharpening. The petals should be in focus and sharp otherwise you can't tell what you're trying to show.

I like the bike... how could something on the bike be made to stand out more?

The "out of focus" parts of the bicycle and the background take up almost all of the shot, there is too little in my view which is in focus - had the rear wheel been turned further into the shot and less of the front wheel it perhaps might have worked better.
The white's on the flower look slightly "burnt out" in the lower part of the image and I agree about the Soft Focus elements.

I prefer the b&w versiont of the bike. I find my eye wanting to look at the pedal - but the rear fender is in focus. I like the angle, and the dramatic shallowness, but I would bing th focus point forward a few inches.
