Prob with 410

Can anyone advise me on how to overcome my problem with my 410 head.

The knob to adjust the head up and down is ultra stiff somehow. Its gone vertually impossible to turn with your hand in the one direction.

Is there a way to slacken it off or something.

Im stressed.

Youre referring to the Bogen/Manfrotto Geared Head 410 right? Have you tried contacting Bogen/Manfrotto about it yet? Might be something they can fix under warranty.

Ain't contacted them yet, its got worse over time i think :(
