That's most likely the "Report Bad Post" button. It's to warn moderators to take a look at the thread to calm things down. Usually to stop flame wars before they start. But we're a good bunch, so I don't expect that button used much.

I was using a 70-200 2.8 on a 20D. We were at the park messing around. I was taking a shot of my son who threw a dog treat in the air...the dog jumped and obscured the shot.

Yeah...kind of ruined and kind of not. I had plenty of other pictures of him. The one eye in focus with the obscured foreground just caught my fancy.
