It looks like a tufted titmouse Baeolophus bicolor . Looks like you caught him being still. Nice shot!

Definitely the cutest bird alive..

In fact there is only one thing cuter than a tufted titmouse...

And that's a Juvenile Tufted titmouse :)

Yeah, it just wouldn't sit still. Extremely skittish. :D His crest is just .....CUTE! I'll pay attention to a juvenile next time. ;)

You would not believe how close today I was to ordering a 70-200mmf/4.
Then my waterbill came in, taxes, mastercard bill, gas bill blah blah blah!!!!!
I hate waiting...lol

Dan, as long as u know the lens will get you most of your daily shots, go for it. If u still have slight hesitation, then more research will definitely help. The last thing we want to see is our fellow POTN member regrets a decision after spending that much money. ;)

cfc, nice picture of a cute bird. I envy you man ! you seem to have birds all around. here in Tokyo i consider myself lucky if I can see anything other then crow & pegions :-(

LOL!:lol: Thanks Raj. I haven't been to Japan before but Japan always gives me an impression of beautiful birds are everywhere due to the nice four seasons and the green environment. They could be mainly living in the outskirts. Or maybe it's time to set up a bird feeder outside your window, Raj. ;)
