Can a 3-way pan tripod fit easily in a tripod bag?

Hello..I am a newbie to photography. I am thinking of getting a 3-way pan tripod (Slik Pro 340DX) but was thinking that one of the pan handles need to be removed/unscrewed before I can fit it in a tripod bag. Or would a 2-way pan tripod (Slik Pro 340EZ) fit "as is" in a tripod bag more easily?

If you get a big enough bag you can fit anything in it. You will just have to try an see how compact you can get the head. I used to have a 3 way years ago that had two knobs and one handle. In the right position I could get the handle down along the legs nice and tight.
