I found one, afther a long search on e-bay, amazone, adorama, and so on... I guess I scanned 20 different shops all around, all solled out (except those hong-kong shops). 135L is not to be found in any shop, even used is solled for 1200 dollar.

But I found a new one for 1,067.78, with a Hoya multicoated Filter... at abesofmayne. And the service was excelent. There is still more on stock there.

They sure squashed that lens to make it fit the space on the page. Looks about the size of a 35mm f2.0.

 ...

Seems like thats the reason why 135mm is gone everywhere, a new version has arrived: the compact small 135mm L version. I guess Canon have just taken away all unecesary stuff, like all those heavy expensive glases and small engine stuff inside the lense that nobody ever sees and kept the most important part, the L sign and the red ring. The big advantage is you can go around and look cool with the L ring, and its not that heavy anymore.

sorry for being off topic... but couldn't avoid the temptation of giving comments :)
