I've got a shoot coming up with senior twin boys. I've never shot twins before. Any tips or ideas for some shots of them together? The mom wants most of them by themselves but some together.

The shots by themselves- easy, just becareful not to make them "match" too much. As for together, you really need to encourage them to relax and be themselves.. hopefully you will then see there own personality/style emerge. I would do a variety of close together and then put some distance between them. ie: one crouching down - the other standing- shoot at some crazy angles. Just take your time- I previously did senior triplets all at once so keeping them individual is very important to the child.

thanks. I do plan to have a couple where one twin is up close and the other is off in the distance and use a shallow DOF to isolate the one up close. We're shooting at a waterfall/woodsy area with access to a mill and old barn.
