Thurso Gala Parade 2009

Hi folks, here's a selection of images taken on Saturday (1st August 2009) from the Thurso (Caithness, Scotland) 2009 Gala day. It consists of a crowning ceremony (the gala queen) and parade of fancy dress collectors & floats. First time in 10 years at this sort of event (hey the lure of a photo competition drew me in!!). What do you think? Any strong contenders for an entry?
