Ok, first off I am going to try posting photos I have hosted in Flickr. I have used photobucket in the past but this will be my first try with Flickr.

These are random photos of our dogs and horses and possibly a cat may show up. I would like to hear critique of any of these for both technical and creative aspects.

Thanks for sharing those. #2 is interesting .. #5 looks like it would make a nice poster with a poem across the sky.
I kind of like the last shot too. .. it reminds me of something that would be published in an article. (country living, pasture management, barns, incoming storms ... ? ) I like the late day light in that shot.
The (pretty) collie shot would be nice if it were sharper. I love that late day, warm light.
Beautiful dog!

Beautiful dog!

And he knows it! He and the black Arab love the camera. I know that picture is a little soft. It is straight from the camera though, the light was really warm. I actually used a brush stroke effect filter in photoshop and had mpix print that to canvas with a wrap. It turned out real nice and my wife loves it.

The little gelding with the white blaze looking under the one in the foreground is also soft. Hard to get two horses to stand still for low light shots.

Thanks for the comments. We have so many bright sunny days here in Texas that it is sometimes hard to get an interesting composition.
