Hey folks, just a heads up. SAM 29000 (The newer VC-25) has come home from a year and a half upgrade. She should start flying back-up missions sometime this month. Then late summer or early fall SAM 28000 will go back to Boeing for the same mods & upgrades. So, if anyone gets a chance to shoot both of these birds together over the summer jump on it! After 28000 goes to the shop they won't be flying together again until sometime in 2011.

Good news, the work on 28000 was completed sooner than expected and she is now back home. I haven't heard a date as to when both VC-25 will start flying together, but with the upcoming elections I expect it to be soon. Once they're flying as a pair again I'll let you all know.
