Does the Pilot go on one side and the co-pilot on the other? Crazy thing!

That is correct, pilot on one side, co-pilot on the other side.

Pilot/Co Pilot on the right .. Windows on the left are painted on.
The left boom will be used to train "Astronauts" for the Gs and weightlessness they'll face on their Virgin Galactic ride. Without the Spaceship attached, WKII is capable of +7 / -3 Gs.

nice shots , i hope the controls are linked properly , full left rudder and full right rudder at the same time , it would snap in half

full left rudder and full right rudder at the same time , it would snap in half That would depend on how flexible the wings are. "Bud" Anderson had a lot of experience with attaching P-51s to the wings of a bomber. Seems that some Germans figured out that the configuration would allow fighters to match the range of long range bombers because of the fuel savings. Being a test pilot isn't always fun! :D

Thanks Jay for correcting me. I overheard the pilot on one side, co-pilot on the other and took it as the truth.
