Still working on the rest, but what do you all think?

looks good, to make it a little better maybe a small amount of (remote) flash fill on her face to get rid of some of the harsh shadows. also bump up your F stop to get the car a little more in focus, unless that is the look you were going for.

All in all a nice shot.

I think is was the wrong time of day to shoot. If you had to shoot at that time, some fill flash on her face would have been great. There are lots of hot spots on her body...

Yeah I was going for the blurry look on the car.

You both mentioned fill flash for the face. I'll give that a shot next time since I have a 580exII. I'm new to the "model" thing, so that didn't even cross my mind. Thanks for the pointers.

Agree with the fill flash. I like the DOF. The car is still recognizable, yet not taking away from the model.

nice composure, next time i would wait until there arent any cars in the BG because the orange car to the left is kind of distracting, and maybe move the car so the tree isn't growing out of it as said before me.

theres a 'tree' growing out of it. :D I like the DOF. The car is still recognizable, yet not taking away from the model. Which makes this more of a "People" shot than a car shot. So the lighting on her should be much better as has been pointed out.

I like the background you picked. The car looks a little hot. Nice to see another corvette brother :)

Yeah, i think the hood in particular is hot. You miss the traditonal corvette lines with it overexposed. that's my 2 cents.

I love the shot, dont get me wrong...but...

I'm looking at the background of the shot, I see you are at a dragstrip, and the idea flys into my head why the model isnt "flagging" a race between that other car coming up. That might make for a great capture, just as the cars are taking off.

I have that pose too. ;) I wasn't happy with how it turned out, though. I'll post it when I get home for kicks.
