Haven't finished everything yet, but here are a few images from a family session we did a week ago. More will be up on the Blog (http://5th-streetphoto.blogspot.com/) soon.

I welcome all feedback folks have as I am on a never-ending quest to better my craft.

I like them, I think you did a great job. The only issue I would have had is your composition in #2, but with children you have to take the shots as they appear, nothing to be done other than shoot another "muscle" photo.

Love the 3rd shot. You got great exposure for the family and the sky.

valkabit - thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. The comp is actually intended the shot to be slightly off, trying to be slightly different. Not sure if it worked though...

JAimeCandM - Thanks, the sky was great that day. I actually de-saturated these a bit also - the original had much bluer skies.

I understand you were going for something different, but bodies with their heads missing are gonna look out of place I'm thinking, especially in a family photo (just my.02). If you want the parents sort of detached from the photo but still in it, I would have them far enough in the background to be out of focus, and maybe looking at each other and laughing. They'll still be there, but the boy will be featured.
